CHARLESTON - The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services (CAMTS) has awarded HealthNet Aeromedical Services a full, three-year reaccreditation for patient transport operations.
“This successful accreditation process is a significant milestone for our program. It speaks to the quality delivered daily and the tremendous effort and dedication by our team members who are focused on patient care and safety,” said HealthNet Aeromedical Services, Inc. CAMTS is a peer review organization dedicated to improving the quality and safety of medical transport services. To obtain accreditation, a service must demonstrate substantial compliance in areas such as communications, infection control, legal requirements and ethical practice, medical direction and medical protocols, safety management systems, scheduling and fatigue management and training and education of medical and operations personnel.
